“Maybe there’s something wrong with both of us.”

Ash and Maggie are busy setting up for their imminent baby shower. With pressure from Ash’s interfering parents, friends’ new babies and Maggie’s sister, Ash won’t wait any longer to complete his perfect family.

Over the course of the play, relationships are birthed, secrets are conceived and lies can no longer be carried. Follow Ash and Maggie as they test the limits of love and deceit.

BLUE BALLOONS PINK is a new play, exploring the pressures of a modern relationship with old-fashioned values. Ash and Maggie will strain your empathy and challenge the traditional protagonist/antagonist relationship on stage. Whose side are you on?

New writing by Daisy Roe, featuring new music from Joel Oldham and Anna Foye and with new designer Lucy White, this play brings together original ideas under the guidance of experienced director Miranda Kingsley.

“Unsettling and heart-warming in equal measure.”
