About the performers:
Luke Kennard is a poet and novelist who lives in Birmingham. His 6th collection, Notes on the Sonnets, won the Forward Prize in 2021.
Amy Acre is a poet and editor, born in London and living in Nottingham. Her work has been selected as a BBC Pick of the Week, and her debut collection, Mothersong, was published by Bloomsbury in September 2023. She runs award-winning indie publisher Bad Betty Press.
Declan Ryan’s first poetry collection, Crisis Actor, is published by Faber & Faber. His reviews and essays – mostly on books and boxing – have appeared in The Guardian, The Observer, and New Statesman.
Billie Manning is a poet and teacher from Hackney. She has been published in Magma, bath magg, and Bad Betty’s Survival anthology. She teaches was a Barbican Young Poet in 2020.
Alice Grey is an East London-based alt folk musician originally from Essex. Her EP What’s In Your Head? is available on Spotify and Amazon Music.
