Live from the Bridge House presents a night of top notch comedians giving some new material an outing. You might have seen these fabulous comedians on your screens or heard them in your ears. This is an inclusive night that is built around a friendly and safe atmosphere.
For our February edition, we have the wonderful Helen Bauer who has recently performed on Live at the Apollo as well as appearances on the BBC’s Stand Up For Live Comedy, ITV’s Stand up Sketch Show and The Emily Atack Show. Her debut Edinburgh show was nominated for best newcomer.
We also have the fantastic Kai Samra. Fresh from recording his Amazon Prime special, Kai's critically acclaimed Edinburgh Show 'Underclass' took the festival by storm. He has also been seen and heard on ITV2, Vice, BBC3, Radio 4 and Asian Network.
Finally we have the up and coming Harry Monaghan who was a finalist in 2Northdown New Act 2019 Competition. He also is the host of several hit podcasts, such as ‘Baking Bad’ and ‘The Weekly Shop’ with fellow comic Ania Magliano.
We also have resident comedian Joseph Parsons (as heard on the BBC LGBTQ Sports Podcast and named one of Edinburgh Fringe’s Top 10 LGBTQ acts by the EFC) and it’ll all be tied together by the wonderful hosting skills of Joseph Emslie (Runner up for the Leicester Mercury Comedy Awards and Finalist for Laughing Horse New Comedian of the Year).
Due to coronavirus and other occasional stumbling blocks, lineups can change. But one thing is for certain, we will always have a fantastic line up – even if it’s a different one to what we had originally booked.
