Welcome to the wonderful world of Sir Charlie stinky Socks – the brave little knight with the heart of gold, who just happens to be celebrating his 15th anniversary this year.

Follow a mystical map as Sir Charlie and his creator, Kristina Stephenson take you on a fun-filled journey through all his nine big adventures. But be prepared to join in! Because this is a journey of discovery and surprises during which YOU get to choose which magical monsters you meet and what you do along the way. There will be interactive musical storytelling, puppets, props, songs, games and just the right amount of spookiness. You’ll even have the chance to make your own unique paper bag puppet.

The show runs at approximately 1 hour with a puppet making activity afterwards which usually takes a further 30 minutes. The event is suitable for children aged 3+ and their grown-ups. It is a Practically Perfect Pictures Production.
Be prepared to have fun!

"Mystical Maps & Magical Monsters was excellent! My children loved the fact it was so interactive with plenty of opportunity to get involved, they also loved the puppets and characters"
Audience member, Hexham

"Absolutely thrilled with Kristina Stephenson's Mystical Maps and Magical Monsters event. My 4 year-old was enthralled. It was so well done, loved every moment. Fantastic value for money"
Audience member, Hexham

"I couldn’t ever seem to get Vincent (age 4) to build or make anything. He doesn’t want to draw or do anything constructive really, until today…thank you."
Vincent’s mum, London
