Birdie lost her virginity on the ninth hole of the golf course, to her boss. After seven years away from home, the village, and the golf club, she’s back to confront the man that changed her life when she was so young.
Determined to gain the closure he never gave her, Birdie comes equipped with a plan to bring him to justice whatever the cost to his new life. Unbeknownst to him, Birdie records their conversation hoping to incriminate him and provide her with the evidence she so desperately needs.
Will she get the revenge she’s seeking or is her determination actually born out of unrequited love?
As the play unfolds, we’re shown Birdie’s past life at the golf club, the level of his manipulation of her feelings, and where her infatuation began.
The play takes the audience on an emotionally charged journey of confronting the past, seeking closure, and pursuing justice.
